Pre-registration closes on March 28th, 2006.

Merchanting
The merchant fee for this gathering is $25.00 per 10 ft. x 10 ft. space. Multiple merchant spaces may be purchased; contact us directly if you need a larger area. We list Merchants on the Website; if you include the URL to your Website, we will link to you.

We will be repeating the "Craft Demos" for demonstrating the manufacture or creation of your wares. There has been a decline in the number of merchants who offer "Craft Demo's" of late. This is sad. You are depriving yourself and our community of a chance to demonstrate your product, and remember that Workshops are community service too!
The number of merchant sites are limited and are "First Come, First Served." There are only 25 sites available for rent to merchants and it is important to note that we generally close Merchant registrations 2 1/2 weeks into registration. Merchant sites usually fill very rapidly.
Be sure to read the merchant registration form and fill it out clearly and completely.

Merchants are required to have fire extinguishers displayed on the outside of their booths (bungie cords work great!). They cost around $7.00-$8.00 (at Walmart) and if yours gets used, we will refill or replace it at our option.

There will be an additional $20.00 per site for electricity. The good news, however, is that we anticipate NO difficulties with electrical service at Hidden River.

Most people think that the Tarot can only be used for doing divinations, fortune telling, or pathworking. In this workshop you’ll learn other ways of using the Tarot to bring real magick into your life, including using the Tarot cards as talismans, with candles, the amazing Dancing the Tarot technique, and as a synchronistic key to sex magick!

The Other Side of Tantra Presented by Donald Michael Kraig
Tantra is far more than the “yoga of sex” as many self-styled Tantric “experts” have claimed. It is a complete system of spirituality, as complete as the complexities of the Kabalah and as direct and straightforward as any of the numerous Neopagan systems popular today. In this class you will discover the “other side” of Tantra, the 98 per cent that does not deal with sexuality. Topics will include opening the senses, crazy wisdom, meditation, breath, magick and much more. Open to all people.

Sacred Dance Presented by Patricia Telesco
Seeing phamily and dancing the fire are the two main reasons I didn't want too miss the event! More to come.........

Gathering Etiquette
New to our Festival Environment? We’d like to invite you to attend Gathering Etiquette on the deck. All social interactions have certain customs that have evolved as “correct” behavior; Pagan gatherings are no different. Included are tips on how to interact with the friendly naked pagans, when throwing a cigarette into a fire is a bad idea, attending ritual, and more!

Each of the Clan Mothers reflects a particular teaching, relates to a cycle of the moon, and possesses special totems, talents and gifts that can help each of us cultivate our own personal gifts and talents.

Dance of Life/Animal Totems Presented by Gypsy (Friday)
A good way to greet the arrival of the new day.......Simple steps of acknowledging each of the four directions, drawing the power of the direction and giving it to the earth, and to the sky, centering it then sharing it with the East, with the West, and the South and the North.......Simple to follow movements that flow with each direction. Followed by an introduction to types of books and card decks available on the market, a discussion of different animals and what they have to say to us. We are all related.

Dr. Skip Clatk is a medieval historian with numerous publications and paper presentations at scholarly and Pagan festivals and a regular at PhoenixPhamily events.

History and Anatomy of the Drum Circle Presented by Freedom

We will compare and contrast forms and philosophies of such drum circles as “Traditional”, “Celebration”, “Pagan”, “Rainbow” and “inner city”.

Storytelling as History, Teaching and Healing Presented by Elspeth
Throughout human existence, information has been carried in the memories of the people. Part of understanding illness, for instance, is seeing it as part of myth and story. All of us, especially children, learn from stories. As we build community once again, we need to revive these skills. (Possible 2 part class)

Retroactive Rites of Passage Presented by Elspeth
Most of us missed our puberty rites. Many of us have passed other landmark occasions without fully honoring them- deaths, births, divorces, first job/house/car, gains and losses in life. Is it too late? Let’s talk about possibilities. Bring paper and pencil.

Silly Songs Presented by Elspeth
Forget your dignity. Come sing. No training needed. This is an excellent workshop for parents and children together. (But you don't have to bring a child to attend)

Be Responsible for Your Mouth Presented by Elspeth
Words are majik – powerful majik. And we speak them freely. What are your words doing as they pass from your mouth to someone’s ears? This class will consider some of the uses (and misuses) of the power of speech.

Note: In addition there are multiple youth and teen workshos - and each day there is a main ritual crafting workshop at 1:00 in the main ritual circle.
