My husband and I had never attended a festival and when we registered (at
the gate on Thursday) nobody asked us about community service. I would have
been happy to participate. Is there a posting somewhere about community
service? How do you sign up for it?

Thanks for your reply,
Denise

Good idea if everyone wrote down their full name (rather than just a first
name of craft name) on the sign up sheet and everybody actually did sign up
as asked to (believe it or not, some people don't sign up even with someone
standing right there watching) and people wouldn't come back later and cross
off their name so it can't be read.

Mino's reply: How about "Hear Ye Hear Ye, Joe Blows' presence is
requested at the sacrificial altar. The reward for his capture is his
houses, land and daughters!" HEHEHEHE (just kidding, ok?)

Frankly, I like Chrissy's idea about posting a copy of the work schedules at
the Ritual Circle with the bulletin board. I think that a lot of folks just
get soooo involved in the Festival that they forget their commitment, or
forget when it is scheduled for.

However, Mino, I think I would far rather have someone's sons to toy with if
he/she missed a shift...LOL. And besides, sacrificial altar? Waste
perfectly good slave labor? No....make that sacraficial altar a sink full of
dishes, or a laundry room full of dirty clothes...Now that is a true
punishment for not being responsible...right?

and finally....Thanks to the folks in South West Florida...what a delightful
time at Merry Meet we had. Good hugs, and good vibes!

Blessings,
Hugs,
Tyla

From Jack (Seawolf)

Had a great time and I think camping over is the
better way to do this. It gives a place to crash when
the energy lets go. From my wife Edwine, great soup
and thankyou again.

Many Bright Blessings Jack (Seawolf)

"DRUMMING AT THE RANCH"

SATURDAY APRIL 7TH

GATES OPEN AT 2:00 PM

THIS EVENT IS FREE

Sponsored by: "The Melbourne Drum Tribe" and "Pagan
Pathway Community"

The festivities will begin at 2:00 PM everyone is
welcome to come out and enjoy 100 acres of beautiful
land, bring your tent and spend the night, come out
and walk around, get away from the hum drum of the
city, and enjoy a beautiful day, go exploring, you
never know what you might find out there, I have
seen Deer, Wild Turkey's, and much more, but what's
important is what you find within yourself, for that
is where it counts.

This is a BYOE which means bring your own
everything, this is a primitive site, and that being
said what you bring in will be expected to be taken
back out when we leave.

If you have never been out at the Ranch, you will be
in for a wonderful surprise, this is a safe
environment, that we have been graciously allowed to
used, and each time that we have had an event out
there it has been better then the one before. It
will be a potluck dinner so bring something that you
can share.

Bring your instruments, bring your voice, bring your
laughter, bring your heart and mind, for they will
all be used as we come together as individuals, as
we come together as friends.

Cauldron of Fire will be facilitating the Full Moon
Ritual

On a seperate note, we will also be celebrating the
40th birthday of one of the people who allows us to
use this land, namely my brother, so make sure you
tell him Happy Birthday, when you see, and for those
of you who have never met my brother, you will know
him instantly.

Directions:

If you are coming by way of the Florida Turnpike,
then get off at SR 192 and head east, this will take
you through St Cloud, continue to take 192 until you
reach Holopaw, you will know you are in Holopaw when
you reach the Flashing Yellow Light, make a right
turn, take this road down until you reach the Radio
Tower with the Flashing Red Light at the top, this
is on the right side of the road, and the Ranch is
right across from that. There is a sign outside
that reads Bulls For Sale, and we will have Balloons
on the Gate. Follow the drive way around the fire
pit is in the middle of the field.

If you are coming by way of I-95, then get off at
exit 71 which is SR 192 and head west, until you
reach the Flashing yellow light, at the light you
will make a left turn take this road down until you
reach the Radio Tower with the Flashing Red Light at
the top, this is on the right side of the road, and
the Ranch is right across from that. There is a
sign outside that reads Bulls For Sale, and we will
have Balloons on the Gate. Follow the drive way
around the fire pit is in the middle of the field.

If you do happen to get lost you can reach us at the
Ranch Phone: 407-436-0244, we will forward this
number to a cell phone if we are not going to be in
the cabin. The cabin btw is off limits during the
event.

If you have any questions please email them to me at
spellqst@iag.net

Blessings to you all, and I look forward to seeing
you at the Ranch, for an excellent time.

We have so many talented writers, and poets, and other artisans in
our midst! I am wondering about a Phoenix publication once each year
to help make $$$ for the community Land fund...I bet we can get folks
to contribute.

That could include ritual, ritual pieces (e.g. quarters), poetry,
drawings, music, etc. What is the community thought?

I am sure there is someone out there who could promote/publish
something of this nature. The artists, writers, etc. could hold all
copyrights, and release just for this publication, initially.

Does anyone remember the old journal, "The Crystal Well"? Perhaps
something along this line, and we could sell to those outside of the
Phamily. (Or to othose inside of the phamily, too!!!)

I did layout, etc. in the old cut and paste days...like with a light
table, and real paper and paste...LOL...the computer would make this
kind of endeavor a bit less difficult.

Oh, well, just an idea...
Blessings,
Tyla

i work for a vocation school and we do our entire brochure in microsoft publisher. it looks nice and is not overly costly to print. we generally get about 20,000 for about $3500.00. this is with a full color front page and two colors through out the booklet.

just thought i'd share that.
